After investigating big Internet Marketing forums, reading numerous member comments and other net reviews,
I got to a conclusion that statistically Hostgator seems to be recommended at Number 1 with a clear majority of people.
Also membership site (more than 4000 members) which I belong to happens to use Hostgator.
1. I am currently with expensive Hostgator, but read below that it was not my own choice.
I belong to a subscription membership site that has more than 4000 members "Not Criminal Mr. Chris Farrell's Internet Marketing Coaching Service".

2. If I were to choose Web hosting for my personal site
I am Most likely to use iPage, FatCow or MyHosting as they are cheaper and their support seems as good as Hostgator. Don’t get me wrong. I currently have no problems with Hostgator

3.1 If your priority is Price: Start with iPage, FatCow or MyHosting
After joining if you are not happy which is most unlikely, you join Hostgator.
In other words, use Hostgator as a Last Resort Safety Net whom you can fall back on.
3.2 If your priority is Playing Safe: Choose Hostgator, though Expensive

Ideally visit http://forums.digitalpoint.com/ or http://www.warriorforum.com/ or other Internet marcketing forum sites and read what forum members are saying.
Huge numbers of comments are posted endlessly everyday and THEY are Personal EXPERINCE by coal face webmasters.
